“Harmony with the Environment”—Toward the Realization of a Sustainable Society

With our vision “Repaint the Future,” we aim to be a company that cherish people and is filled with smiles.

Kikusui Chemical Industries has established “Repaint the Future”” as our sustainability policy and are striving to realize a sustainable society. Looking ahead to our 100th anniversary (2059), this policy was formulated by our young employees who will lead the next generation, with our desire to use the power of Kikusui Chemical to brightly repaint the future that would otherwise fade without action.

Our company started in 1959 as a paint contractor, driven by our founder’s vision to “brighten up the city.” Later, we transitioned into a manufacturer with the ambition of developing innovative finishing coatings that did not yet exist on the market. Since then, as a pioneer in environmentally friendly inorganic and water-based products, we have developed and sold numerous products, including our silica-based series and the condensation-preventing coating "Ketsuronine." Our dedications are closely aligned with sustainable management and play a vital role in supporting the buildings and structures that protect people’s lives and urban activities from climate change and external environment.

Our company motto, “For everyone, Better products, Abundant affection,” was established through repeated discussions among all employees during our founding period. It serves as the unwavering backbone of our business rooted in the pursuit of social responsibility, scientificity, humanity, and harmony with the environment.

Leveraging over 67 years of accumulated expertise, our " Kikusui 6 Solutions" contributes to solving problems —including environmental measures (asbestos), energy conservation (heat shielding,) aesthetic restoration (exposed concrete,) spalling prevention (porcelain tiles spalling,) Functional restoration (carbonation and
salt damage,) water leakage prevention (injection) — earning us the deep trust of many clients.

Under our keyword "Kikusui—from substrate to finish," we are the only manufacturer in the industry that not only handles products comprehensively but also engages in the application process. Consequently, our ability to provide a "finished coating film" is also one of our strengths. In our housing business, we provide solutions for the renovation market through partnerships with major housebuilders. In our building materials coatings business, we established "Kikusui Reform Harmony" in 2025 and will focus on creating comfortable living environments in collaboration with member companies nationwide.

Guided by our company motto, Kikusui Chemical Industries will continue to take responsibility for all the products and painting works we provide, offering our customers peace of mind, safety, and satisfaction, while driving our business to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
